Gino founded Colangelo & Partners in 2006 after spending over 10 years with a global agency, Dentsu Communications, where he pitched and won new business, and conceived and put into play communications strategies for a blue-chip client list that included Siemens, Olympus, Japan Airlines, Finmeccanica, Alenia, Suntory, and others. Before Dentsu, Gino spent 10 years in his own retail business, a unique experience in the agency world. Prior to the retail business, Gino spent 2 1⁄2 years in Japan writing copy for an ad agency and writing freelance for American publications. He has also lived and studied in Siena, Italy. Gino’s love of food, wine and spirits has led Colangelo & Partners to focus on these ‘worlds of passion.’ Since its founding C&P has conceived and executed successful integrated communications campaigns for institutional clients including Vinitaly, Slow Wine, Prosecco DOC, Sagrantino di Montefalco, the Grana Padano COsoritum, Speck Alto Adige, Wines of Portugal, Wines from Spain, Wines of South Africa, and Wines of Greece as well as wine companies including Frescobaldi, Ornellaia, Luce, Arnaldo Caprai, Masciarelli, Fontanafredda, Mionetto, WInebow, Colavita, Ferrarelle and many others.
