Ronaldo Padovani was born in Osasco, Brazil, in 1969. He is a marketing executive with over 25 years of experience in the business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) markets. Having graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the Polytechnic University of São Paulo, he subsequently obtained an MSc in business administration from the School of Business Administration of Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), in São Paulo, including credits earned through the Luigi Bocconi School of Business Management, in Milan. He also obtained an MBA in business management from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing, in São Paulo, including credits from the Escuela de Alta Dirección y Administración (EADA), in Barcelona. Ronaldo attended several post-graduate marketing and business management courses in Brazil and abroad, including a specialization in the marketing and internationalization of companies at the Centro Universitario di Organizzazione Aziendale (CUOA) in Vicenza, Italy.
Ronaldo joined the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) in 1995, following an experience running a children’s training school. He is currently a senior trade analyst and one of his areas of expertise includes agri-food and wines. He is an expert in market analysis, trends and competition, construction of distribution channels, management of advertising campaigns, coordination of promotional events, and contacts with the press. He has vast experience in the internationalization processes of companies, having facilitated the expansion in Brazil of over 500 Italian companies, representing the capital goods, services, and consumer goods sectors. He is fluent in Italian, Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French.
