Systems Engineer with a Harvard Degree in Advanced Management, Maggie Henriquez is a professional with over 40 years of experience, out of which 29 have been spent as President and/or CEO of multinational food, wine and spirits companies in Venezuela, Mexico, and Argentina. She is now the CEO of the House of Krug in Reims, France, the house that has always focused on creating Prestige Champagnes since 1843.
During her stay in Mexico, Henriquez was Professor of New Product Development for International Markets and Strategic Alliances at the Universidad Panamericana. Among other recognitions, in 1993 she was appointed “Keeper of the Quaich” by the Scotch Whisky association. In 2008 in Argentina she was appointed among the best five executives of the year by Fundaciôn Konex. Recently, she was also appointed Woman of the Year 2013 by UK trade media Drinks International. She has two children living in Mexico and is also a grandmother of two girls and a boy.
Ms Shenghan Wang graduated from Brown University and Le Cordon Bleu Wine and Management. She is the founder of Lady Penguin and the guest taster for France’s leading wine guide Bettane&Desseauve. Lady Penguin is the most active wine community in China, and it owns a social media platform of 1.5 million fans and produces China’s most popular wine show with over 200 million views. In 2017, Shenghan was awarded as “30 Under 30” entrepreneur by Forbes China. The story of Lady Penguin is featured in media such as Bloomberg, Businessweek, ELLE, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar.

Originally trained in hotel management, Lynne Sherriff MW’s interest in wine grew through her studies and lead to her gaining diplomas in cellar technology in Stellenbosch, and a state degree in oenology and viticulture in Germany, before working for Nederburg and the Stellenbosch Farmers Winery in South Africa. In 1990, she was head hunted to establish the Hong Kong Wine & Spirits Academy, and after relocating to London in 1992 to establish the wine import and distribution company Vinfruco, she launched the Arniston Bay brand. Sherriff became an MW in 1993 and was chairman of the Institute of Masters of Wine from 2010 to 2012. Sherriff was Chairman of China and Japan Wine Challenge Wine Competitions and DWWA judge since 2004. She was awarded by the Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, for her contribution to wine education, from Masi Foundation Award, Verona Italy for contribution to international wine education and nominated as one of the 50 most influential people in the world of wine by Wine Intelligence, UK. She currently works as an educator and independent wine consultant specialising in production, blending and marketing focusing on Europe, Africa and Asia.
